The following services are available at your property.
Provides children with a safe place to learn, develop, and have fun at their local community center where available.
Bright Ideas Book Bank is open to all children through age 18 living in Homeport’s apartment communities. Held annually in December, children may receive one new book from a selected list and up to three used books.
Head Start slots available for children 6 weeks to 5 years of age living in eligible Homeport communities.
One time financial assistance to help eligible residents get caught up on their rent, bills, and other basic needs.
Homeport links residents to 1-on-1 employment coaching to support residents through each phase of the job search process, as well as direct access to employment opportunities where available.
An individual appointment with a Homeport advisor that includes: reviewing your credit report, identifying credit issues, and helping you develop a plan for repairing credit problems.
Provides residents access to free and nutritious foods through onsite Produce Distributions and/or referrals to their local pantry.
Homeport service coordinators can give residents appointments to the Furniture Bank, where they can pick out furniture for their home.
Homeport Home Ownership develops and sells high-quality, energy-efficient homes in in both urban and suburban neighborhoods throughout Central Ohio.
Homeport provides free school readiness assessments and resources for children between the ages of 2 – 5.
Women at least 32 weeks pregnant or mothers with a baby less than 12 months of age can receive a free Pack ‘n’ Play portable crib and education on safe sleep practices for their infants.
Service Coordinators can help Homeport residents apply for public assistance with a Job & Family Services case worker.
Homeport collects backpacks and school supplies for each child who registers in grades Kindergarten-12th.
