Afterschool and Summer Camp Programs
Provides children with a safe place to learn, develop, and have fun at their local community center where available.

Book Drives
The Book Drive is open to all children through age 18 living in Homeport’s apartment communities.

Childcare
Head Start slots available for children 6 weeks to 5 years of age living in eligible Homeport communities.

Emergency Assistance
One time financial assistance to help eligible residents get caught up on their rent, bills, and other basic needs.

Employment Coaching
Homeport links residents to 1-on-1 employment coaching to support residents through each phase of the job search process, as well as direct access to employment opportunities where available.

An individual appointment with a Homeport advisor that includes: reviewing your credit report, identifying credit issues, and helping you develop a plan for repairing credit problems.

Food Assistance
Provides residents access to free and nutritious foods through onsite Produce Distributions and/or referrals to their local pantry.

Furniture Assistance
Homeport service coordinators can coordinate resident appointments to the Furniture Bank, where they can pick out furniture for their home.

Direct referrals for mental, behavioral, and primary health needs.

Homeport Home Ownership develops and sells high-quality, energy-efficient homes in in both urban and suburban neighborhoods throughout Central Ohio.

Kindergarten Readiness
Homeport provides free school readiness assessments and resources for children between the ages of 2 – 5.

Pregnancy & Infant Resources
Women at least 32 weeks pregnant or mothers with a baby less than 12 months of age can receive a free Pack ‘n’ Play portable crib and education on safe sleep practices for their infants.

Service Coordinators can help Homeport residents apply for public assistance with a Job & Family Services case worker.

Scholarship Opportunities
Financial assistance to help cover education related expenses, such as GED preparation and testing, as well as other post-secondary expenses such as tuition and books.

School Supplies Drive
When requested, Service Coordinators direct Homeport school children, from kindergarten all the way to 12th grade, to local organizations providing backpacks and back-to-school supplies to ensure a great start to the academic year.
